Our team

We understand the complex problems fraud teams today face. We’ve spent the last decade working with some of the world’s largest payments processors and financial institutions to fortify their fraud prevention. The results speak for themselves; we’ve enabled customers like BBVA, NatWest, TSYS and WorldPay to both cut false positive rates and increase fraud detection by double digit percentages.

Leading the team at Fortify is Karthik Tadinada, former COO of Featurespace and creator of their award winning real-time fraud detection system. A data scientist, with a PhD in Electrical and Information Engineering from Cambridge University, Karthik brings unparalleled strategic and technical ability to fraud prevention and risk management.

During his ten years at Featurespace, he oversaw all aspects of business operations, technology development and AI strategy. Helping the company grow revenue over 100x during his tenure. He led teams globally, working directly with major banks to build and deploy mission-critical machine learning solutions for fraud. Karthik and his team were behind some major accolades at The Card & Payments Awards. - including NatWest “Best Security and Anti-Fraud Development” and Worldpay’s “Best Technology Initiative”.

In his spare time, you can find him working on questions for the British Mathematical Olympiad, coding with his kids, or cycling the roads of Cambridgeshire.
